TPC
has active, competent and experienced Board of
Directors (BOD) that has rich experience in finance,
management and development.
The
Chairman of the Board is Mr. Michael Spingler,
a microfinance specialist with 16 years of development
experience providing strategic advisory, technical
assistance and capacity strengthening services
to microfinance institutions (MFIs), banks and/
or credit unions in Egypt and Southeast Asia and
Ghana. Advisory, technical and training assistance
have focused on governance, strategic, business
and operational planning, operations, human resources,
marketing, and financial management and product
development and service delivery. He currently
is based full time in TPC acting as a senior management
consultant and was the Chief Operating Officer
of TPC from 1996 – 2003.
Ms.
Fernanda Lima is a private equity and financial
expert who has six years' experience with major
private equity firms in Europe, Latin America,
and the U.S. social sphere. She worked for AIG
Global Investment Group in London as an Investment
Manager, working on equity transactions in Scandinavian,
Eastern and Southern Europe, and as an Investment
Associate with AFLA/Citicorp Venture Capital in
Sao Paulo, structuring private equity investments
in Brazil's service sector. Most recently, she
has been a Senior Investment Officer with NCIF/ShoreBank
in Chicago, a social private equity fund investing
in U.S.-based community development finance institutions.
She has a MBA from the University of London and
a MSc in Environment and Development from the
London School of Economics. She currently holds
the position of Vice President Private Equity
at Developing World Markets and is the shareholder
representative on the Board.
Mr.
Ry Vanna represents the TPC employees on the BOD.
He is a Northern Regional Manager of TPC. He started
with TPC as Credit Agent, and was later on promoted
to Credit Manager. He assumed the role of Branch
Manager of one of the branches of the organization
in 2002 and was promoted due to excellent performance
to regional manager in 2009.
