Thaneakea Phum (Cambodia) Ltd., is a locally registered and licensed Microfinance Institution. Thaneakea Phum, which stands for ”Village Bank” in the Khmer language, started providing rural credit and savings to rural poor in 1994. TPC became a limited liability company in 2002 and received its license from the National Bank of Cambodia in 2003. It is currently one of 9 regulated and licensed Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) operating in Cambodia. |
